Immigrants Take Oath to Become a Canadian Citizen at BC Ceremony

Canada Immigration Express -British Columbia

One hundred newcomers from over 35 different countries took their oath of Canadian citizenship during a ceremony in Sudbury, British Columbia

To participate in the service, the participants must first pass a citizenship exam by getting at least 16 of the questions correct. If they do not pass the test the first time, they are able to retake it, but different questions will be asked. Each of the new citizens came to Canada for various reasons, but all decided to stay in the country. Some have spent many years here, and others had only arrived a short time ago.

Canadians are tolerant and open to newcomers. Canada is considered the world’s most immigrant-friendly country. Contact Canada Immigration Express for help with the visa application.

Ming Fu, a researcher at Sudbury’s Laurentian University, arrived in Canada from China over ten years ago on a work permit. “People everywhere are the same. They’re honest. They’re kind,” Fu declared. He said his friend’s parents treat us like their own, so he refers to them as Dad and Mom. Fu and his daughter, Maggie, became Canadian citizens at the ceremony.

New citizen Lucica Smaranda said she fell in love with Canada and wanted to learn more about the country. She was garbed in a red Canadian T-shirt and sweater with red maple leaves for the ceremony. She said she is blessed to be in Canada and is thankful to God He made it possible.
